每年鞋類網站 ⟪ Footwear News ⟫ 都會評選出當年年度最佳鞋款 Shoe of the Year，過去得獎名單包括Kanye West 的 Yeezy Boost 350、Rihanna 的 Fenty × Puma Creeper、還有 Virgil Abloh 與 Nike合作的 Air Jordan 1。至於Shoe of the Year 2018，得獎的是（阿咪老師請下音樂）得獎的是～ Fila Disruptor 2。
必須得說，Fila 在 2018 年大翻身，聯名出不停，還與 FENDI 三方聯名、更首度登上 2019SS 米蘭時裝週。靈感來自 1998 年籃球鞋的 Disruptor 2，更是搭上Dad Sneakers熱潮，皮革鞋身、鋸齒刀型大底是識別標誌，更是小個女的福音。
⟪ Footwear News ⟫ 總結了 Fila Disruptor 2的得獎原因，首先是符合2018年的關鍵字就是「 Dad Sneakers」。此外受到潮人明星，像是Ne-Yo、天使超模 Emily Ratajkowski、Dakota Fanning 等的喜愛，出鏡率很高。
第三個原因則是跨越世代鴻溝，與⟪Footwear News⟫2013年首度舉辦Shoe of the Year得獎者Stan Smith有同樣的特質，男女老少，阿公阿姨腳上都能看到。不少人會認為 Disruptor 2 太過基本款，其實Disruptor 2有 Premium 系列，包括與 Barneys New York、Alife、Liam Hodges 等推出聯名，⟪Footwear News⟫下了如此結論：「Disruptor 2 頗cool」。
